Mary J. Blige is set to debut her inaugural Las Vegas residency in 2026, featuring a series of 10 performances titled “Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story” at Dolby Live located in Park MGM. The scheduled dates include May 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, and July 10, 11, 15, 17, 18.

Blige embarks on this exciting phase of her career, fueled by the expansive success that has marked her three-decade trajectory. In 2024, she was celebrated with an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, released her 15th studio album, Gratitude, and wrapped up a highly successful arena tour in 2025, selling over 270,000 tickets.
Her accolades are unprecedented: nine Grammy Awards, numerous American Music and Billboard Music Awards, alongside over 80 million records sold, and Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for her acclaimed role in “Mudbound” in 2017.
The announcement of her residency came during her appearance on NBC’s “Today” show, the day after celebrating her 55th birthday. Blige shared with co-host Craig Melvin that this residency is “major” for her and highlighted its theatrical production style featuring actors and narrative elements, all while showcasing her hit songs.
Much O’ Blige
This residency marks over 30 years since Blige made her debut with the album What’s the 411?, which introduced timeless hits like “Real Love” and “You Remind Me,” establishing her as the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. Her extensive catalog — including classics like “Family Affair,” “Not Gon’ Cry,” “Be Without You,” and many others — remains critical to the evolution of modern R&B.
Blige views the residency as a unique opportunity to unite fans “from all over… to experience something together,” with promises of surprises for her dedicated audience.
Her Instagram announcement radiated enthusiasm: “Vegas, are you ready? I am thrilled to reveal my very first Las Vegas residency… Looking forward to seeing you in May!”
The last time she performed in Las Vegas was on February 28, 2025, at T-Mobile Arena, during her “For My Fans” tour alongside Ne-Yo and Mario. However, this residency will be her first prolonged engagement on the Strip.
