Guitarist Carlos Santana has delayed the start of his Las Vegas residency in 2025 due to an accidental fall at his Hawaiian home. The residency was scheduled to begin on January 22 at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, but has now been rescheduled to May 14-25.
The 77-year-old music icon suffered a fall while walking at his vacation home and injured his left pinky finger, requiring six weeks to heal, including the insertion of pins. His manager, Michael Vrionis, stated that Santana’s health is the top priority, and he looks forward to returning to the stage soon.
Tickets for the rescheduled dates will be honored, with refunds available for those unable to attend the new dates.
DJ Faces Setback
Another artist facing changes in their Las Vegas schedule is James Kennedy. The DJ, known for his appearance on “Vanderpump Rules,” was set to headline LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau but was dropped from the lineup following a recent arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence.
While no charges have been filed yet, Kennedy’s upcoming performances have been affected by the incident.
Carrie Underwood News
Carrie Underwood‘s residency at Resorts World will conclude on April 12, with a concert special filmed for Hulu streaming on January 24. Tickets are still available for her final shows, and she will join “American Idol” as a judge starting March 9.
