Mad Apple debuted in May 2022, replacing Zumanity, offering a mix of acrobatics, singers, dancers, rappers, and magicians.

Mad Apple was created as a New York-inspired variety show, departing from Cirque’s traditional mythology-driven performances, featuring standup comedy and a more flexible cast structure.

With a shorter run than other Cirque productions, lasting just over four years, Mad Apple leaves New York-New York with a vacant showroom.

It is unclear if MGM Resorts will fill the space, as they have been focusing on concerts and flexible programming.

‘Pause’ Stopped

After more than two decades, Menopause the Musical has permanently closed at Harrah’s Cabaret. The show debuted in Las Vegas in 2006, becoming the longest-running musical in the city’s history with over 7,000 performances.

Menopause The Musical tells the story of four women experiencing menopausal chaos and bonding over shared experiences, using parody versions of well-known songs from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.

Featuring performers like Paige O’Hara, Queen Emily, Susan Anton, and Cindy Williams, the show has entertained audiences for years but faced competition from other entertainment options on the Strip.
