R&R Partners, the advertising agency for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor’s Authority, revealed its newest Las Vegas commercial this week.
“Give your all to whatever you choose” is the tagline. While it may not have the same catchiness as “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” (2003) or the humor of “You can bring your kids to Vegas, but why would you?” (2022), it’s still quite charming.
The 60-second commercial begins in different hotel rooms as visitors prepare for the night, showcasing a variety of entertainment options available in Las Vegas every evening.
One person proudly wears a WWE championship belt, while another adorns a mascot head resembling the Philadelphia Eagles (but not quite). One pair seems on their way to a country music concert, while another is headed to a punk rock show. (These latter two seem to reference Nick Shoulder, the singer who blends punk and country in his song, “Too Old to Dream,” which provides the ad’s lively soundtrack.)
As the elevator doors open at the end, it becomes clear that all of them were staying at the same hotel. When they reach the lobby together, they dash out into the night like Vikings charging into battle.
Take a look…
“Las Vegas holds different meanings for different people, but what’s amazing is that each of those meanings is magical,” Chuck Monn, R&R’s newly appointed chief creative officer, said to Ad Age. “Our aim was to celebrate the diversity of experiences the destination provides, highlighting the excitement of being a fan in all its forms.”
The campaign kicked off last week in the US, Mexico, and the UK, with a prominent placement during the Vegas Classic Kickoff. It will continue airing in specific markets for the next two months during NFL games, WNBA playoffs, and the men’s World Cup qualifier.
