Rudy Feuerschutz of Chesapeake reportedly received the ban after playing blackjack at the Virginia gaming property. He claims that he only loaned $500 to a friend while at the casino and denies any involvement in loan sharking.

“I do not think they have any — actually no — solid evidence. I know that they don’t, because I’ve never done it.”

Feuerschutz further revealed that the loans were made during a double-down hand and that he didn’t charge any interest. He argues that the casino does not have any signage prohibiting lending money to others.

The reasons behind Rivers Casino’s ban are still unclear, and the casino has declined to comment on the incident.

“Like most large-scale entertainment venues, we are committed to prioritizing a standard of conduct that preserves our guest experience,” said Kelli Webb, a casino spokesperson.

Feuerschutz has appealed the ban, but his appeal was rejected.
