The gathering may also include traditional finance executives, although the attendee list remains unsettled, according to the report. It is unclear whether President Donald Trump will attend.

Crypto and prediction markets have emerged as major areas of focus in Washington, where regulators appointed by President Trump have taken steps to support both industries.

The gathering is scheduled one day before the Commodity Futures Trading Commission is due to hold a meeting for its new Innovation Advisory Committee. The panel includes executives from leading cryptocurrency, gambling, finance, and prediction market companies, among others.

The meeting also comes as the crypto industry pushes for passage of the Clarity Act, a comprehensive market structure bill currently pending in the Senate.
