A woman carrying thousands of dollars in her pocketbook was robbed outside a Wisconsin gaming property.

A man stole her bag as she and her husband returned to their car. The woman had won cash at Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison on New Year’s Eve. They left around 2 a.m. when a man approached them and asked for a ride. The couple refused, and the man grabbed the purse and fled. The Madison Police Department were still searching for the robber early in that week, but no detailed description was provided.

Two women from South Dakota were due in court for embezzling about $15K from a local casino. They used the funds to bail out a man they were dating. They allegedly stole the money from Happy Jacks Casino, then drove to the jail to post his bail. Similarly, a woman was arrested for stealing $500 from a hotel at River’s Casino Pittsburgh. She was taken into custody by Pennsylvania State Police and also had narcotics possession charges filed against her after drug paraphernalia was found in her possession.
