The announcement of the “Official Prediction Market Partner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup” highlights a collaboration with DAZN, a leader in over-the-top sports streaming.

On Monday, DAZN revealed its partnership with ADI Predictstreet, a new prediction market that received notable attention after FIFA designated it as the official platform. This cryptocurrency-based market, supported by the ADI Chain (a blockchain initiative from Abu Dhabi), will synchronize its sports event trading into the DAZN service.
“Collaborating with ADI Predictstreet enables us to integrate real-time predictions directly into live broadcasts, transforming fan insight and sentiment into a fundamental part of experiencing major sporting events. With the FIFA World Cup 2026 as a prime example and our platform as the driving force, this partnership marks a significant evolution in sports consumption,” stated Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO.
DAZN can be accessed as a standalone app on many smart TVs and gaming consoles, as well as via mobile devices and Amazon Prime Video, with a primary focus on soccer and combat sports.
Transforming Fans into Participants
The ongoing discussion regarding whether trading sports events on prediction markets is a form of financial savvy or merely gambling is expected to continue.
Supporters of these platforms argue they empower individuals to leverage their insights and perspectives for financial gain, while critics contend that it is simply another form of sports betting.
Dimitrios Psarrakis, CEO of Predictstreet, emphasized that their partnership with DAZN is aimed at engaging sports fans with the exchange.
“By merging DAZN’s unparalleled reach with ADI Predictstreet’s live participation element, we are turning fans from passive observers into active players. This is not just an enhancement of engagement; it is the inception of a new domain where technology, collective intelligence, and global events unite at scale,” Psarrakis affirmed.
Predictstreet asserts its platform is crafted to “reward insight and meaningful engagement.”
