Mohegan’s Inspire at Incheon International Airport in South Korea is set to open this month.
After years of anticipation, Mohegan’s Inspire at Incheon International Airport in South Korea is set to debut its first phase on November 30. Built near the primary international airport serving the Seoul capital metro, Inspire will feature an array of hotels, restaurants, an arena, as well as convention and meeting facilities.
The project is expected to significantly contribute to the local and regional economies by creating local jobs and attracting visitors to the area. Mohegan aims to share its legacy and spirit with the world through the Inspire integrated casino resort.
Mohegan’s President and CEO, Ray Pineault, considers the project’s debut in South Korea as a significant opportunity for the company’s global growth, and to share Mohegan’s legacy and spirit with the world.
Grand Opening to Unfold in Phases
Inspire is the result of a large investment and is to be executed in multiple phases. The first phase, estimated to be a $1.6 billion investment, is set to feature numerous attractions. The grand opening will include an entertainment attraction called Splash Bay, and the launch of an integrated culture space called Inspire Mall.
Casino Opening in Early 2024
Inspire will open its foreigner-only casino in early 2024, equipped with a gaming floor measuring more than 200,000 square feet. The gaming floor will include approximately 1,500 slot machines and 250 table games.
Inspire is Mohegan’s first international project, as the company continues to expand its footprint in the casino and entertainment industry across the US and now globally.
