The Council of Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey (CCG) faces a lawsuit from its former executive director, Neva Pryor, who accused CCG President Fred Hogan of racial discrimination. Hogan allegedly made a racist comment towards Pryor, but CCG’s lawyers argue that the working environment was not hostile or abusive. The case is pending a ruling.

Pryor, who is African American, sued CCG claiming racial discrimination led to the non-renewal of her contract. However, CCG refuted the allegations and pointed out evidence of Pryor’s alleged improper conduct, which led to her dismissal despite positive performance reviews and multiple raises during her employment.
