Mötley Crüe is facing a significant challenge in their box office performance. The ticket sales for their upcoming 10-show residency at Park MGM’s Dolby Live are struggling, leading fans of the iconic ’80s glam metal band to express concerns about potential cancellations.

As of August 27, one-third of the 5,200 tickets for Dolby Live’s opening night on Friday, September 12, remain unsold on Ticketmaster. For midweek shows, availability is over 50%. This scarcity comes despite tickets being on sale since last October.

“There’s a lot of tickets still available for the Las Vegas shows,” one fan commented on Reddit. “What are the chances they might find a reason to cancel?”
Another fan replied: “It could possibly be the casino/promoter exercising some exit clause. Even at half price, tickets don’t seem to be moving. Alternatively, they could cite Vince’s health issues while he continues to perform smaller Crue shows at nearby casinos.”
This marks Mötley Crüe’s third residency, preceded by their performances at the original Hard Rock Hotel in 2012 and 2013.
Originally, the residency was set for March and April but was postponed due to a medical procedure that singer Vince Neil needed, although details about the procedure were not revealed.
Mars Aligns with Another New Year’s Eve Celebration

Bruno Mars recently revealed that he will ring in the New Year for the seventh time at the same venue. He has only missed celebrating the New Year at this venue in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
Currently, Mars is in the midst of a nine-show residency that runs until September 6. Last Friday, he celebrated his 100th performance at Dolby Live, which was formerly known as the Park Theater until it secured a naming sponsor in October 2021.
Tickets for his December 30-31 shows will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, August 28, through Ticketmaster.
