A 26-year-old man from Wisconsin has been taken into custody in Henderson, Nevada, for allegedly issuing a death threat against Station Casinos CEO Frank Fertitta III in response to the company’s marquee tribute to slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

According to a report from the Henderson Police, obtained by KLAS-TV/Las Vegas, on September 12, Thomas “TJ” Fedikovich made two threatening calls to a Sunset Station employee. In the initial call, he warned that the memorial would be destroyed unless it was removed. In the follow-up, he reiterated his threats and allegedly added, “We’re also coming for your CEO.”

Investigators from the Southern Nevada Counter Terrorism Center traced the calls to a burner phone linked to an email address associated with Fedikovich, as reported by KLAS. He was detained the next day at a local Starbucks in Henderson.

Charlie Kirk was tragically shot on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University, and his death has sparked significant discussions across the nation regarding free speech, extremism, and political violence.

Station Casinos displayed memorials for Kirk across several of its properties, although Fedikovich reportedly only noticed the one at Sunset Station in Henderson. Following the threats and public backlash, the marquees honoring Kirk were ultimately removed, as stated by KLAS.

Fedikovich, originally from Madison, Wisconsin, has been charged with coercion involving threats of bodily harm and harassment, according to KLAS. During his initial court appearance, bail was set at $6,000, with a requirement to avoid contact with Sunset Station and its staff.

As reported by KLAS, Fedikovich managed to post bond on Wednesday but remains in custody at the Henderson Detention Center.
