The Las Vegas Aces are set to take over the Las Vegas Strip on Friday, October 17, to celebrate their third WNBA championship parade and rally in just four years. The Aces clinched the title by defeating the Phoenix Mercury 97-86 in Game 4 of the finals at Footprint Center in Phoenix on October 10, completing a dominant 4-0 series sweep.
The celebration kicks off at 5 p.m. at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. Following the tradition of previous Aces parades, this event will proceed north along the southbound lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard, making a left turn onto Park Avenue and Connector Road, and concluding at Toshiba Plaza outside T-Mobile Arena.
A grand two-hour rally featuring inspiring speeches and live musical performances is scheduled. (Notably, rapper 2 Chainz entertained the crowd in 2023.)
Fans planning to enjoy the rally are recommended to gather along the west side of Las Vegas Boulevard and Park Avenue.
Toshiba Plaza will be accessible to the public starting at 3 p.m., with the festivities anticipated to last until around 7:30 p.m. An official Aces merchandise pop-up shop will launch at Toshiba Plaza at 4 p.m.
Traffic Closures
While Aces fans are excited to celebrate their team, it poses challenges for visitors trying to navigate the Las Vegas Strip for other activities.
Starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, access to the Strip by vehicle will be restricted. Expect to encounter increased foot traffic and crowded conditions. Monorails will operate, but RTC buses will not. Rideshare drop-offs are advised south of Tropicana Avenue.
