Hard Rock Casino Sacramento unveils new sports bar designed for upcoming sports wagering

The Hard Rock Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain has launched its latest sports bar. This new venue is tailored for both casino visitors and sports fans in Northern California, and it’s strategically set up for sports betting once it becomes permitted in the state.

“We understand that it’s imminent. Obviously, California is poised to be the largest state in the nation to adopt sports betting,” stated Mark Birtha, President of the casino, while discussing the prospects of legalized sports betting in California during an interview with KCRA3.

The Hard Rock Sports Bar held an exclusive VIP event on Monday, followed by a grand opening for the public on Tuesday. As part of this launch, the casino contributed $10,000 to the athletics program of Yuba City College, supporting its student-athletes across various sports teams.

Situated near the entrance of Hard Rock Live at the northern end of the casino floor, the Sports Bar presents a carefully curated menu featuring craft cocktails and draft beers, and operates daily from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.

The bar was designed with the capacity to facilitate sports betting, should it receive legal approval. Officials have confirmed that they are ready to adapt the existing space for wagering as soon as it’s authorized.

“We have constructed this venue in such a way that, once legislative approval is secured, we will transition to phase two, installing kiosks for sports betting and enabling us to offer this amenity at the right moment,” Birtha added.

The Enterprise Rancheria is actively collaborating with lawmakers and other tribes to legalize sports wagering in California. Birtha also underscored the tribe’s dedication to the region through various initiatives like the new sports bar.

“The Enterprise Rancheria tribe is steadfast in its commitment to reinvesting in the property, creating new job opportunities and fostering economic growth in the area, ensuring our continued positive impact,” Birtha remarked.

The establishment is adorned with memorabilia honoring sports icons from Northern California and beyond. It boasts a ticker that displays live scores continuously, while an immersive video wall can showcase up to 20 sporting events simultaneously, providing an engaging viewing experience for guests.

This amenity comfortably seats 82 individuals, features 14 bar-top games, includes a cigar lounge, and will soon unveil a new slot progressive.
