In March 2023, Caesars Entertainment and Tao Group Hospitality launched Stanton Social Prime at Caesars Palace, inspired by New York City’s Stanton Social, which closed its doors in 2018. However, steak wasn’t the main attraction for the owners; it was the legacy of Stanton that took center stage.

Recently, the restaurant underwent a transformation, promptly changing its cuisine and rebranding to Stanton Social Italian. Chef Chris Santos remains at the helm but is now crafting Italian dishes instead of steak offerings.
“The next phase for Stanton Social delves into classic Italian dining, drawing inspiration from New York’s rich history of iconic neighborhood restaurants spanning from Little Italy to the Bronx,” Santos stated in a Friday announcement.
The refreshed menu showcases a selection of modern Italian favorites intended for shared dining, featuring dishes like Fritto Misto with calamari, shrimp, squash, cherry peppers, and a unique arrabbiata sauce accompanied by preserved lemon aioli.
Remarkably, the restaurant continued its operations seamlessly throughout this transition.
Dining Updates

A third Hello Kitty Café is set to open on the Las Vegas Strip. Kitty White, the beloved character behind this pop culture phenomenon, will greet patrons on the second floor of the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. (Previous locations include Park MGM and the Fashion Show mall.)
Zippy’s, a favorite Hawaiian diner that launched its first Las Vegas branch in October 2023, plans to expand with additional locations in early 2026 at 10810 W. Charleston Blvd. in Summerlin South, and 5485 Camino Al Norte in North Las Vegas. Currently, Zippy’s operates at 7095 Badura Ave. in southwest Las Vegas, 4590 S. Hualapai Way in Spring Valley, and 9570 S. Eastern Ave in Henderson.

The Hush Puppy, a beloved eatery serving Southern fare and ingraining itself into the fabric of Las Vegas since 1975, is set to launch a second location at downtown’s Neonopolis on November 18.
Red Rock Resort recently closed Leoncito, a modern Mexican restaurant, in late September. As reported by Vital Vegas, this space will soon be transformed into Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar. Ironically, this is the same establishment Red Rock closed in 2023 to accommodate Leoncito’s opening.
Red Rock also intends to discontinue Side Piece after four years, making way for a new pizza venture, Good Pie.
Lastly, as indicated by Vital Vegas— credited for a considerable amount of this updates— the struggling Pepper Club at the downtown English Hotel is slated to close on January 1, 2026. The replacement, as mentioned by the real estate development firm managing the venue, alludes to “something exciting,” although details remain scarce.
