The newest Proline Sportsbook Lounge in British Columbia officially opens today, just in time for the Grey Cup matchup between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Montreal Alouettes (scheduled for 6 p.m. EST, 3 p.m. PST).

The launch of this lounge at Chances Casino Terrace is a significant milestone as it becomes the first of its kind in the Skeena region, located in the northwestern part of the province along the North Pacific Ocean, marking the sixth Proline lounge in British Columbia.
This venue features an impressive 18-foot multi-view display, showcasing multiple games simultaneously, alongside three self-service betting terminals for everything from single bets to parlays and live wagering actions.
Dynamic Live Betting Experience with Dual Screens
“We are thrilled to introduce this engaging experience to Terrace while also expanding our Proline Sportsbooks throughout the province,” expressed Dan Beebe, COO of BCLC.
The grand opening event occurs today from noon to 9 p.m. PST, where attendees can compete for exciting prizes, including a trip to Vancouver for the Canucks versus Edmonton Oilers game on January 17, which includes game tickets, hotel accommodations, a $500 Uber gift card, and two Visa gift cards worth $500 each.
The other five locations include Parq Casino in Vancouver, Chances Kelowna, Chances Maple Ridge, Casino of the Rockies in Cranbrook, and Chances Casino Fort St. John.
Proline, the digitized sports betting platform in British Columbia, has replaced Sports Action as of 2024, being the only legal avenue for residents in B.C. to bet on sports and engage in online gaming.
The Roughriders are favored at Proline, with a money line of -208, while the Alouettes stand at +140.
Ontario Market Sees Reduction to 48 Operators
According to a report by Canadian Gaming Business, the licensed igaming market in Ontario has dwindled to 48 operators and 82 gaming websites following the closure of Betiton.
Aristocrat Interactive launched Betiton in Ontario just last January through its iGaming White-Label package, marking the fourth market entry for Betiton with Aristocrat’s technology. The White-Label solution featured a comprehensive casino platform offering exclusive content from Roxor Gaming and additional offerings from Wizard Games.
Furthermore, the MagicBrand platform, which also employed Aristocrat’s White-Label package, was launched in Ontario earlier and has since been shut down.
