No official announcements regarding a documentary have come from Adele or Caesars Palace, yet the iconic British artist is believed to have a wealth of behind-the-scenes and performance footage from her Las Vegas residency, sparking interest from Hollywood.

As reported by The Sun, major players are already looking to invest in the “Weekends With Adele” footage, as she financed the project independently without partnering with any streaming services or film studios beforehand.
The tabloid states the footage encompasses everything from rehearsals to the superstar’s backstage routines and humorous interactions with her team.
“A comprehensive concert docuseries isn’t on the agenda currently,” an anonymous insider told The Sun, adding, “but there are thoughts that this footage could be integrated into a larger project.”
Adele’s residency at The Colosseum included 100 shows, after a 10-month delay due to half of her crew contracting COVID-19. It’s expected that any future project will reflect this tumultuous period.
The singer made headlines when she canceled the opening night just hours before it was set to begin on January 21, 2022, leaving fans from around the globe devastated. In an emotional Instagram video, she expressed her heartfelt apologies, stating that the show “isn’t ready” due to the significant impact the pandemic had on production.
Widespread Excitement Returns

Widespread Panic has officially announced its return to Las Vegas for a three-night engagement at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, taking place from May 8 to 10, 2026.
This marks the Southern jam band’s first return to Vegas in over three years. Originally, Widespread Panic was scheduled to perform at the same venue in 2024, but those plans fell through due to guitarist Jimmy Herring’s diagnosis of Stage 1 tonsil cancer. With Herring back to performing, the 2026 shows mark a long-awaited comeback for the band.
The timing is particularly notable as it occurs just days after Phish concludes its Sphere residency on May 2, creating a potential jam-band gathering week in Sin City.
Pre-sales via Amex, the venue, and JamBase will commence at 10 a.m. PT on January 7, offering three-day passes. General ticket sales will follow on May 9 at 10 a.m. PT through AXS.com.
Speculations Surrounding the Sphere
AJ McLean from The Backstreet Boys stirred some buzz after telling Billboard News that he believes The Spice Girls would be a fitting candidate for a performance at The Sphere.
“Absolutely!” he approved.
McLean made this comment while responding to a question posed by Melanie “Mel C” Chisolm (aka Sporty Spice). Whether enough fans echo this sentiment remains to be seen.
