Early Sunday morning, a segment of the Las Vegas Strip was briefly closed off as numerous police units responded to a situation outside the renowned Bellagio hotel and casino.

Disorderly Gathering
Shortly after the incident, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) issued a statement indicating that officers were addressing a large, disruptive crowd that had formed due to a performance impacting traffic flow on the Strip.
“Officers engaged with the crowd and were attempting to take several individuals into custody,” LVMPD stated. “At one point, an officer was struck by an item thrown from within the group.”
Police confirmed that 11 individuals were apprehended due to the unrest. Given the large group size and dynamic nature of the situation, multiple local units were dispatched to aid.
LVMPD noted that the situation was resolved without further incident and that no officers sustained injuries. Although vehicle and foot traffic had been significantly limited during the response, normal operations have since resumed, with law enforcement maintaining a visible presence in the area for added safety measures.
No Reported Injuries
No additional information regarding those arrested or the specifics of the performance that incited the crowd has been released. Authorities confirmed that there were no injuries among the public.
