- Will a new interactive indoor mini golf course attract visitors to Atlantic City?
- Ocean Casino Resort launched “Ocean’s 18” this past Saturday
- The 18-hole miniature golf venue welcomes guests of all ages until 9 PM
Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City has unveiled a new 18-hole attraction designed for guests of all ages.

Last April, Casino.org reported on a $50 million renovation at the Atlantic City Boardwalk property. While most of the investment was directed towards revamping the casino hotel’s 559 guest rooms, funds were also allocated for new family-oriented features, including this 18-hole miniature golf course.
On Saturday, Ocean proudly introduced Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar. Celebrated actor Christopher McDonald, known for his role as Shooter McGavin in “Happy Gilmore,” officiated the opening alongside “Jersey Shore” stars Sammi Sweetheart Giancola and Jenni JWoww Farley.
“Ocean’s 18 embodies our vision at Ocean Casino Resort — creativity, excitement, and experiences that unite people,” stated Bill Callahan, general manager of Ocean Casino. “By merging the nostalgic charm of mini golf with high-tech features, a lively bar atmosphere, and unparalleled entertainment, Ocean’s 18 provides a fresh layer to the guest experience, solidifying Ocean as an essential stop in Atlantic City.”
Spanning over 8,000 square feet across two levels, Ocean’s 18 is open to visitors of all ages until 9 PM, after which it transitions to a 21-and-over space. The venue is situated on the Casino Level, adjacent to LaScala’s Fire.
Things to Do in Atlantic City
The casinos in Atlantic City continue to enhance their offerings beyond gaming to attract families and new visitors. Representatives state that the miniature golf course “adds yet another engaging attraction” to the resort. In 2025, Ocean’s casino reported a gross gaming revenue of $468.1 million, placing it third among Atlantic City casinos, following Borgata ($800.8 million) and Hard Rock ($550.8 million).
Ocean’s 18 offers more than just mini golf. The venue boasts a $500K immersive holographic display created by the same team behind the Sphere in Las Vegas.
The advanced technology includes Ava the Avatar, a virtual human hologram that greets guests, answers inquiries, and invites visitors to try the Challenge Hole. Additionally, the golf course features a towering 12-foot great white shark hologram above a well-stocked bar. Ocean claims this is the largest mini golf course hologram globally.
Like the Sphere, the hologram at Ocean’s 18 can be customized to showcase company logos and visuals.
