- Wyndham Hotels & Resorts partners with Choctaw Casinos & Resorts
- The collaboration includes four tribal casino hotels under Wyndham Rewards.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is increasing its footprint in the casino resort sector with a new collaboration with Oklahoma’s Choctaw Nation.

As the largest hotel franchising entity worldwide, Wyndham operates roughly 8,300 hotels across over 100 nations. With this new venture, four Choctaw Casino & Resorts venues will join the Wyndham family, including the flagship Choctaw Casino & Resort Durant, which will be integrated into the Wyndham Grand collection, while the other three resorts in Hochatown, Pocola, and Grant will be included in the Trademark Collection by Wyndham.
“This partnership captures the essence of what today’s travelers seek — vibrant locales, unique experiences, and deeper connections with their favorite destinations. Welcoming Choctaw’s exceptional casinos and resorts into the Wyndham fold allows us to broaden the offerings of our brands and Wyndham Rewards program,” stated Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
While Wyndham expands its brand, Choctaw will maintain ownership and oversight of the four establishments, which are currently part of a rewards program boasting over 120 million members.
Choctaw also oversees non-hotel casinos located in Broken Bow, McAlester, Idabel, and Stringtown.
Casino Collaboration
Previously, in 2017, Wyndham Hotels forged a partnership with Caesars Entertainment, facilitating a status match and point transfer between their rewards programs. This collaboration has since been extended, allowing Wyndham Rewards members to reserve stays at casino hotels nationwide, including locations in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
The Choctaw casinos located in Durant, Grant, and Hochatown are positioned just north of Texas, while the Pocola casino lies near the Arkansas border. Notably, Texas lacks commercial casinos, and tribal establishments cannot offer classic Las Vegas-style slot machines or live-dealer table games.
Wyndham’s alliance with Choctaw underscores the burgeoning tribal gaming industry.
Data from the National Indian Gaming Commission reveals that tribal casinos generated an unprecedented gross gaming revenue of $43.9 billion in the fiscal year 2024. The Oklahoma City area, inclusive of tribal casinos in western Oklahoma and Texas, contributed $3.2 billion, while the Tulsa market, incorporating eastern Oklahoma and Kansas, accounted for $3.6 billion.
Wyndham indicates that its partnership with Choctaw emphasizes the rising popularity of regional gaming hubs. Ballotti highlighted the Oklahoma tribal gaming sector as one of the “fastest-evolving gaming markets” in the nation.
Choctaw Casino Venues
The four Choctaw casino resorts now associated with Wyndham collectively offer nearly 2,000 guest accommodations. The largest, located in Durant, is situated a mere 90-minute drive from Dallas-Fort Worth.
The Choctaw Casino & Resort Durant features over 1,600 rooms and suites spread across several towers, housing one of the globe’s most extensive gaming facilities with upwards of 7,400 slot machines and 100 table games.
Choctaw Casinos & Resorts sponsors notable teams including the MLB Texas Rangers, NBA Dallas Mavericks, and NHL Dallas Stars. Additionally, they are recognized as an Official Supporter for the 2026 Dallas World Cup, featuring local icons such as Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez in their marketing campaigns.
