- Patriots advancing to their 12th Super Bowl
- Seahawks’ QB Sam Darnold shines in 31-27 victory over the Rams
- Patriots defeat the Broncos 10-7 in a snowy showdown in Denver
Preliminary lines for Super Bowl LX have been released, placing the Sam Darnold-led Seattle Seahawks as the frontrunners and top betting favorites at various prominent sportsbooks, shortly after they secured a 31-27 victory against the L.A. Rams in the NFC Conference Championship match.

In a snowy Denver showdown today, the New England Patriots triumphed over the Broncos with a score of 10-7. MVP candidate quarterback Drake Maye recorded just 86 passing yards along with 65 rushing yards and a touchdown. Consequently, the Patriots are set to participate in their 12th Super Bowl.
“The outcome of the Patriots-Broncos game was favorable for the sportsbook,” noted Joey Feazel, Head of Football at Caesars Sportsbook. “The match’s low scoring, coupled with New England failing to cover the spread, solidified a beneficial position for us.”
“Denver also marked our largest single payout in relation to the Super Bowl, as we witnessed a significant influx of Broncos bets following the market adjustment from our opening line of -5.5 to a closing line of -3.5. Sharp bettors quickly capitalized on the points, clearly identifying value and indicating that Bo Nix was not worthy of the full seven-point adjustment our original line suggested.”
Initial Super Bowl Betting Odds
Mike Vrabel, head coach of the Patriots, who secured three Super Bowl victories as a player with the team, could become the first individual in NFL history to win Super Bowls as both a player and a coach with the same franchise. Vrabel is also a candidate for Coach of the Year.
“I won’t win it. It’ll be the players who secure the victory,” Vrabel remarked. “I assure you, it won’t be me; I will do everything in my power, and our staff will ensure they are prepared for the game.”
At DraftKings, the Moneyline stands at Seahawks -225, Patriots +185, with a spread of Seahawks -4.5 (-108) and Patriots +4.5 (-112). The Over is set at 46.5 (-110), and the Under at 46.5 (-110).
At FanDuel, Moneyline is listed as Seahawks -230, Patriots +190; the spread remains Seahawks -4.5 (-110) and Patriots +4.5 (-110). The Over is 46.5 (-105), and the Under 46.5 (-115). Additionally, Caesars Sportsbook reports early Super Bowl betting lines with Moneyline at Seahawks -230, Patriots +191, and the spread at Seahawks -4.5 (-114) and Patriots +4.5 (-106). The Over is 46.5 (-105), Under 46.5 (-115).
Darnold’s Dominance
In his post-game address, Seahawks head coach Mike MacDonald reflected on Darnold’s performance and whether the victory over the Rams would quell doubts regarding his big-game capabilities.
“He silenced a lot of critics tonight. Over 300 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions; he made significant plays on third down,” MacDonald stated. “He hardly practiced all week (there were concerns regarding an oblique injury), yet he has been a cornerstone for us throughout the season.”
Super Bowl LX is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 PM EST on Sunday, February 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
“We accepted a $36,000 bet on the Seahawks -4.5 and a $55,000 bet on New England +4.5 just moments after the odds opened,” Feazel mentioned. “We anticipate intense betting activity over the next two weeks as we enjoy a highly anticipated matchup. We have a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, which ended exceptionally, showcasing an East Coast vs. West Coast face-off, featuring MVP candidate Drake Maye and Sam Darnold, who has overcome skepticism.”
