  • Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are set to clash in a rematch, marking the inaugural boxing event at the Las Vegas Sphere.
  • The highly anticipated rematch will be streamed live on Netflix for all subscribers, with tickets for on-site attendance estimated between $500 and $3,500, set to go on sale in late May 2026.

On September 19, 2026, the Sphere in Las Vegas will witness its first boxing encounter, where Manny Pacquiao seeks redemption. This rematch of “The Fight of the Century,” announced on Monday by Netflix Sports, marks the return of Mayweather from a nine-year hiatus from professional boxing.

In contrast to numerous recent exhibition bouts that both fighters have participated in, this match is recognized as a professional contest — which means Mayweather’s undefeated 50-0 status is officially at stake against the only eight-division world champion in boxing history.

For the Sphere, organizing this fight signifies a substantial technological challenge. The promoters EverWonder Studio and CSI Sports have indicated plans to utilize the venue’s expansive 160,000-square-foot LED screen to deliver a 16K immersive viewing experience, showcasing real-time biometric data and detailed punch statistics visible to the 18,600 attendees.

The arrangement of this match signals a break from the traditional pay-per-view model that characterized their first fight in 2015. This time around, the event will be streamed live on Netflix at no extra cost for its more than 325 million subscribers.

Although pricing details for physical tickets haven’t been disclosed by Sphere or Ticketmaster, industry analysts predict that entry-level seats will start at around $500, while mid-tier tickets might range from $1,500 to $3,500. Prime ringside and floor seats could potentially command five-figure prices, aiming to match the $72 million live gate benchmark from their inaugural match at the MGM Grand.

Ticket sales are anticipated to open in late May.

In preparation for the rematch, both fighters are remaining active. Pacquiao is scheduled to take on Ruslan Provodnikov in a 10-round exhibition on April 18 at the Thomas & Mack Center, while Mayweather is gearing up for an exhibition bout against Mike Tyson on April 25 in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
