Acorn Ridge Casino has officially launched, welcoming visitors for the first time on Tuesday, marking the arrival of a fresh gaming and entertainment hub in Northern California.

This eagerly awaited establishment, brought to fruition by the Ione Band of Miwok Indians in collaboration with Sierra Entertainment, signifies a pivotal achievement for the tribe and the local community. Tribal representatives view the casino as a representation of sovereignty, self-sufficiency, and sustainable possibilities for future generations.

“Acorn Ridge Casino embodies the culmination of years dedicated to hard work, determination, and vision within our tribe,” stated Sara Dutschke, Chairperson of the Ione Band of Miwok Indians. “This establishment symbolizes economic self-sufficiency and new avenues for our people, offering a venue where we can warmly welcome neighbors and guests to a distinct entertainment locale.”

Spanning 60,000 square feet, the casino boasts 484 slot machines, 12 table games, and an outdoor entertainment space. The main dining outlet, Stone Creek Kitchen, presents a farm-to-table culinary experience, while guests can sip drinks at the Old Roots Bar or indulge in mobile beverage carts offering craft cocktails, wine, and beer across the gaming floor.
