Four lawmakers from Colorado have unveiled a comprehensive bill that could transform the state’s mobile sports betting regulations.
Senate Bill 26-131 encompasses several critical enhancements aimed at enforcing more rigorous responsible gambling practices. The bill aims to reduce sports betting marketing efforts. Advertising will be restricted from promoting bonus schemes and providing wagering instructions. Furthermore, ads will only be allowed outside the hours of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and are strictly forbidden during live sports broadcasts.
