Pro Bowl Achievements

Crosby’s situation has taken center stage this offseason, significantly impacting a team that finished with a disappointing 3-14 record. His placement on injured reserve late last season, due to a knee issue, has clearly been a point of frustration. With the Raiders holding the top pick in the NFL Draft on April 23, they are expected to select Heisman-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

In terms of Crosby’s future, his team has been vocal in their support. Last week, Raiders GM John Spytek assured reporters at the NFL Combine that he anticipates Crosby will be in the lineup when the season commences.

Trade Speculations in Las Vegas

“Maxx is an elite player, and I’ve been transparent from day one—our goal is to have outstanding players on our roster,” he said. “We need more top talent to build a championship-caliber team. Maxx and I have a strong rapport; he’s at the facility daily, recuperating. We often communicate through calls and texts. I cherish my relationship with Maxx.”

At 28 years old and standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 255 pounds, Crosby boasts 69.5 career sacks. He has led the NFL in tackles for loss multiple times and has earned five Pro Bowl appearances along with two All-Pro selections, even recording an interception last season. He is often referred to as “Condor” for his relentless pursuit of quarterbacks.

Chicago Bears: Betting Favourites

Crosby signed a lucrative three-year contract extension valued at $106.5 million in 2025, averaging an impressive $35.5 million per year until 2029.

In the betting realm, DraftKings has set up “next team” markets for four notable NFL players: Tyreek Hill, Kyler Murray, A.J. Brown, and Maxx Crosby.

As for Crosby, the Chicago Bears sit as the betting favorites at -135, followed by the Raiders at +165, with the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills both at +1200, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at +1300, New England Patriots at +1300, Philadelphia Eagles at +1400, and the L.A. Rams at +2000.

Remarkably, the Bears only managed to secure 35 sacks last season.

Room Under the Salary Cap

For Hill, the Kansas City Chiefs are positioned at +150, with the Bills at +600, Baltimore Ravens at +700, LA Chargers at +800, Patriots at +1400, Raiders at +1400, Rams at +1400, and Pittsburgh Steelers at +1600.

The Eagles are predicted to retain A.J. Brown, with odds at -175, followed by the Patriots at +275, Chargers at +700, Bills at +900, Tennessee Titans at +1000, Raiders at +1400, Ravens at +1600, and the San Francisco 49ers at +1800.

The New York Jets are favored to acquire Kyler Murray, at +100, followed closely by the Minnesota Vikings at +150, Miami Dolphins at +320, Cleveland Browns at +450, Atlanta Falcons at +500, Indianapolis Colts at +1100, Steelers at +1300, and Carolina Panthers at +3500.

With nearly $90 million available in salary cap space, it’s no surprise that the Las Vegas Raiders have been linked to three of the four players mentioned.
