Kenny Chesney has announced the cancellation of two scheduled performances at the Las Vegas Sphere, marking a significant first in the venue’s nearly three-year history.

Fans who purchased tickets for Chesney’s shows on July 3 and 4 received personal communication from the artist explaining his reasons for the cancellation, along with a promotional code for future shows at the Sphere.
Chesney, marking his debut as the first country act to headline the Sphere, cited the impact that his tour schedule had on his family’s cherished traditions during the holiday.
“In recent weeks, I learned about many family customs that would not be celebrated due to my Las Vegas performance over the 4th of July weekend,” Chesney remarked. “I received clear messages from loved ones about this.”
This change reduces Chesney’s previously scheduled six-show extension to four. The remaining performances are set for July 1, 8, 10, and 11, which remain available for purchase. These follow his earlier summer gigs on June 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27.
Jack White Unplugged
Jack White is set to perform at the BleauLive Theater within the Fontainebleau on Friday, October 2. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. PT on April 17 through Ticketmaster and fontainebleaulasvegas.com.

If you’re planning to attend, keep in mind that this is a “phone-free” event. All electronic devices must be secured in magnetic Yondr pouches before entering the seating area.
White, renowned as the former lead vocalist and guitarist for the White Stripes, has been a strong advocate against phones during live performances. His concert at the Cosmopolitan on April 17, 2022, also enforced a phone ban, as have nearly all his tours since 2018.
What is the reasoning behind this ban? Unlike comedians, who restrict phones to avoid content leaks, White’s stance is rooted in a deeper philosophy. He believes that phones detract from the live experience, sap energy from the atmosphere, and reduce concerts to mere content-collection events rather than shared communal experiences.
Strat Presents Emo
The Emo Orchestra, featuring The Spill Canvas alongside special guests Greywind, will be delivering an orchestral interpretation of emo classics at the Strat Theater, located in the former Stratosphere, on Saturday, May 2.
This touring event employs a full orchestra to reimagine beloved songs from the eyeliner-and-heartache music era, including hits by My Chemical Romance, New Found Glory, and Dashboard Confessional.
Tickets starting from $62.33 are currently available via the Strat’s official website.
