The redevelopment of The Cromwell into the Vanderpump Hotel has transcended being merely a Las Vegas renovation tale; it’s now part of a reality television narrative. Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas, a fresh spinoff series commissioned by Bravo, will follow entrepreneur and reality star Lisa Vanderpump as she rushes to reopen the Caesars Entertainment-owned boutique hotel located on the Strip.

According to Bravo’s announcement, the show will provide an exclusive look behind the scenes of the “race to elevate the property to meet the Vanderpump standard,” leading up to a lavish opening celebration. The narrative will emphasize Vanderpump’s partnership with designer Nick Alain, with whom she is believed to have revitalized the Cromwell’s 188 accommodations, a new lounge, reception space, and the Soleia rooftop pool, all presented in an “industrial romantic” design language as detailed by Caesars.
While no official premiere date for the show has been set, the hotel’s public grand launch will take place on Friday, May 29, with a soft opening commencing on May 26 for select Caesars Rewards members and their friends and family, allowing access to the first round of refurbished rooms.
For Caesars, this series serves as a prominent marketing tool in an era when Las Vegas resorts increasingly depend on reality TV engagements, influencer collaborations, and branded experiences to stand out amidst a bustling Strip setting. The potential advantage of free publicity from a Bravo series might have played a critical role in Caesars’ decision to grant Vanderpump the rebranding rights.
No Vanderbrakes Engaged

Caesars and Vanderpump have fostered a growing collaboration over the past five years. The Vanderpump Hotel marks her fourth venue in Las Vegas as part of this partnership, joining Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace (established in 2019), Vanderpump à Paris at Paris Las Vegas (2022), and Pinky’s by Vanderpump at the Flamingo (2024).
Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, also manage Wolf by Vanderpump at Caesars Republic locations in Lake Tahoe and Scottsdale.
This rebranding reflects a new chapter for a building with a notably dynamic history on the Strip. Originally opened in 1979 as the Barbary Coast, it transformed into Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon in 2007. It subsequently reopened in 2014 as The Cromwell after nearly adopting the Gansevoort name. A background check for a casino license in 2012 uncovered serious concerns about a minority investor in the Gansevoort Hotel Group, linked to alleged organized crime in Russia.
A First, But Not The First
The transformation of the Cromwell into the Vanderpump signifies Caesars’ inaugural naming of a Las Vegas casino-hotel after a celebrity. Although the Centurion Tower was rebranded as Nobu Hotel in 2013, the one and only other casino hotel named after a celebrity was the Debbie Reynolds Hotel & Casino, which operated from 1993 to 1997 just a block away from the Las Vegas Strip.
Lisa Las Vegas will be produced by 32 Flavors, the creative team behind the original Vanderpump Rules, alongside Evolution Media. Following Amazon’s multi-billion dollar acquisition of the legendary studio, Evolution is now a part of Amazon MGM Studios.
For Bravo, this show is a continuation of the Vanderpump Rules franchise, which debuted in 2013 as a spinoff from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Since then, the franchise has grown into a diverse range of series including Vanderpump Dogs, Vanderpump Villa, Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, The Valley, and the freshly premiered The Valley: Persian Style.
