Lotto.com appoints Ruxandra Tereanu as COO and Amanda Coyle as Vice President of Human Resources

Lotto.com has announced the appointment of Ruxandra Tereanu as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Amanda Coyle as Vice President of Human Resources. This enhancement to the executive team comes as the online lottery platform broadens its footprint throughout the United States.

Tereanu will take charge of the operational strategy and implementation for the company. She transitions to Lotto.com after 13 years with Flutter Entertainment, parent company to FanDuel, where she held several leadership roles in operations, marketing, and technology.

During her time there, she played a key role in expanding regulated gaming brands. She holds a degree in Computer Science and is certified in change management.

“Lottery represents the last significant gaming sector making the move online, and the growth potential is immense,” Tereanu stated. “What drew me to Lotto.com is the mix of innovation, expansion, and meaningful impact. As our business grows, we will be able to engage new customers, penetrate additional markets, and amplify contributions to state programs benefiting from lottery revenue.”

At the same time, Coyle will spearhead the company’s people strategy, which encompasses talent acquisition, employee experience, leadership growth, compensation and benefits, and overall organizational effectiveness.

She brings over a decade of human resources leadership experience across tech, media, and consumer-oriented companies. Before joining Lotto.com, she held HR leadership positions at Screenvision Media and other organizations, collaborating with executive teams to align talent strategies with business objectives and bolster organizational growth.

Coyle holds a Bachelor of Arts from Point Park University and has obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, along with a Human Resources Management Certificate from Cornell University.

“Lotto.com is undergoing an exciting growth phase,” she expressed. “I look forward to developing and expanding our people strategy, enhancing leadership capabilities, and cultivating an employee experience that promotes both business success and sustainability.”

The company stated that these appointments reflect its ongoing commitment to leadership, operational excellence, and talent cultivation as it aims to revolutionize the lottery experience for consumers across the nation.

“Ruxandra and Amanda bring a remarkable blend of operational know-how, leadership acumen, and people-centric thinking that will be instrumental in driving Lotto.com’s next growth phase,” said Thomas Metzger, CEO of Lotto.com. “As we continue to extend our platform and audience, their guidance will be vital in scaling our operations while preserving the robust culture and customer experience synonymous with Lotto.com.”

The two executives will operate out of Lotto.com’s headquarters located in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Lotto.com currently functions in 12 regions: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Puerto Rico. The company aims to expand into additional markets in the coming years.
