Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen was prominently showcased during ESPN’s initial coverage of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, which premiered on July 21 on ESPN2.

The first two episodes aired on July 21 on ESPN2, detailing the tournament’s opening rounds and Day 2 events.

Foxen gained significant airtime as he accumulated his chip stack, exerted pressure on opponents, and made crucial decisions. His Americas Cardroom Pro insignia was clearly visible throughout the broadcasts, as ESPN tracked his journey in the early rounds of the Main Event.

One of the notable hands highlighted Foxen making an all-in decision against Vinh Nguyen. After carefully evaluating the scenario and listening to Nguyen’s commentary, Foxen opted to call, securing a substantial pot.

This showcased hand offered viewers insights into Foxen’s strategy at the table. He entered the Main Event after clinching victory in the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em event, earning $594,246 and achieving his fourth WSOP bracelet. Foxen became a member of the Americas Cardroom Pro team in May, alongside Chance Kornuth and Chris Hunichen.

Another Americas Cardroom Pro, Chris Moneymaker, also appeared during the initial episodes, representing Americas Cardroom in the tournament coverage. His victory in the 2003 Main Event, which followed a low-budget online qualification, significantly enhanced the visibility of tournament poker.

ESPN’s multi-year partnership with the WSOP includes over 100 hours of broadcasting, further episodes of the Main Event, and three nights of live final-table coverage.

The final table of the Main Event is set to be aired from August 3 to 5 on ESPN and ESPN2.
