Mark Scheinberg, the visionary behind PokerStars, has listed his luxurious yacht for sale. The opulent vessel features a helipad, beauty salon, sauna, beach club, gym, an inviting deck Jacuzzi, and an infinity pool.
The magnificent yacht, known as Synthesis, is heralded by Auto Evolution as “one of the most stunning and exorbitantly priced mega-yachts available” with a hefty price tag of $152.5 million, coupled with annual running costs estimated at around $10 million.
At 242 feet long, Scheinberg took delivery of the yacht in 2021, crafted by renowned Dutch yacht builder Amels. Synthesis provides accommodations for up to 14 guests in six lavish cabins, along with a dedicated crew of 19.
The Ascent of a Poker Powerhouse
In 2001, Scheinberg, alongside his father Isai, launched PokerStars, transforming it into the premier online poker platform globally. The company was acquired by Amaya Gaming in 2014 for $4.9 billion and is currently part of Flutter Entertainment.
Post-sale, Scheinberg ventured into real estate and leisure investments, notably securing a 50% ownership in the upscale Centro Canalejas complex in Madrid. He also owns the One Hotel in Toronto and boasts an estimated net worth of $5 billion.
While there’s no indication that Scheinberg is seeking a larger yacht than Synthesis, many gaming moguls have recently made upgrades to their seafaring vessels—because for billionaires, size certainly counts.
The Race for the Largest Yacht
James Packer, the crown jewel of Crown Resorts, owns a yacht so expansive it falls into the category of “giga-yacht,” surpassing the more common mega-yacht classification and sitting firmly at the top of private yacht rankings.
Packer’s yacht, named “IJE” after the initials of his three children—Indigo, Jackson, and Emmanuelle—boasts an impressive array of amenities, including a massive heated swimming pool, cinema, an accessible nightclub via elevator, barber’s shop, and a spacious gym on the lower deck.
However, as of May 2026, the title of the largest yacht owned by a gaming billionaire belongs to Tilman Fertitta, owner of Landry’s, The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casinos, and the Houston Rockets, who currently serves as the US ambassador to Italy.
Fertitta acquired the magnificent 384-foot giga-yacht, Lurssen Boardwalk, earlier this year, upgrading from his previous 252-foot mega-yacht, which also bore the Boardwalk name.
In addition to the standard luxuries like an infinity pool and gym, Fertitta’s new yacht is equipped with two helipads—because when reaching a certain wealth threshold, having just one helipad becomes somewhat inadequate.
