The numbers drawn for Powerball on Monday (August 10) were 6, 37, 54, 55, 64, and the red Powerball was 10. The Power Play multiplier for this drawing was 3X.

In the 43rd drawing of the current jackpot cycle, last night’s numbers once again passed by without a match, as no ticket successfully combined all six drawn numbers.

The Powerball jackpot has remained unclaimed since May 2, when two lucky tickets shared the minimum jackpot of $20 million. The $20 million amount was due to two tickets, sold in Indiana and Kansas, matching all six numbers in the preceding drawing on April 29, which had a $143 million rollover.

Although nobody claimed the jackpot last night, Stephen Durrell, chair of the Powerball Product Group and executive director of the Kansas Lottery, reminded players that each ticket purchased supports various state lottery-funded initiatives.

“This is one of the most thrilling jackpot runs we’ve seen this year, but it’s crucial to remember that every $2 ticket sold for Powerball helps fund public programs and services. Since a portion of each ticket salable remains in the community where it was purchased, Powerball benefits are felt nationwide and globally,” said Durrell.

Durrell’s remarks about “around the world” refer to Powerball’s expansion into the United Kingdom, which began with the drawing on July 22.

Powerball Jackpot Approaches $1 Billion

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Wednesday (August 12), marking the 44th event in the ongoing jackpot series. As the game’s premier prizes slip away from players, the jackpot has surged to an estimated $975 million, with a cash option valued at $422.3 million.

The Powerball jackpot has only exceeded $1 billion seven times, the latest occurrence being on December 24, 2025, when a ticket sold in Arkansas won a staggering $1.817 billion. The winner was later revealed to be the brother of North Little Rock Mayor Terry Hartwick, as Arkansas Lottery regulations require elected officials’ relatives to disclose their identities.

The probability of winning the Powerball jackpot stands at 1 in over 292.2 million. The recent Powerball drawing yielded one Match 5 + Power Play winner who took home $2 million. Additionally, two other Match 5 tickets matched the five white balls (excluding the red Powerball), earning each $1 million.

Fourteen tickets matched four white balls and the Powerball with the Power Play, each winning $150,000. An additional 30 tickets matched four white balls without the Powerball, netting $50,000 thanks to the skipped 3X Power Play.
