Motta did not leave the complex and was detected on the fourth floor of the casino’s parking garage. He was caught on security cameras breaking into a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee. Surveillance footage of Motta breaking into the Jeep, where he pocketed several items, including a loaded firearm, was also captured. State police officers ordered him to stop, and Motta attempted to hide the stolen items. Motta was ultimately apprehended and charged with various offenses, including possession of a firearm, theft, and evading arrest.

Pedestrian Struck Near Casino

And if that is not enough drama, it seems you can’t even walk near a casino without encountering trouble. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the vicinity of the Encore Boston Harbor casino. While the victim is struggling to recover from life-threatening injuries, the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene, leaving authorities searching for the vehicle and driver.
