Recorded using Meta smart glasses, the video shows the influencer asking Contarino for her phone number outside a 7-Eleven on Boulder Highway on June 17 — four days prior to her disappearance. Contarino politely declined, stating she had a boyfriend. Las Vegas police confirmed that their missing persons unit is aware of the video, though there’s no suggestion that the influencer is linked to her vanishing.

Final Communication

On June 19, Contarino last reached out to friends via text, indicating her intention to hike Lone Mountain before returning to the Bungalows Hostel, where she was lodging. Surveillance footage later captured her arriving back at the hostel in the early hours of June 20.

Located a few blocks east of the Fremont Street Experience, the Bungalows is situated in a downtown Las Vegas area often described as high-risk, particularly during nighttime hours. The 7-Eleven is 6 miles southeast, directly across from Sam’s Town, a local casino owned by Boyd Gaming.

On the evening of June 19, Contarino visited Timbers Bar & Grill, a local establishment 2 miles southeast of UNLV, where staff reported she appeared subdued yet fine. Footage shows her leaving around 10:30 p.m. after an ATM visit, with nothing out of the ordinary observed by the employees.

According to her family, Contarino ordered breakfast the following morning at a nearby café and then took a bus to Mount Charleston, a favored hiking spot northwest of Las Vegas. Investigators believe she disembarked and commenced a planned hike — a trail she had hiked before — but she never returned to her hostel afterward.

After she failed to board her flight to Melbourne on June 21, her family reported her missing. Investigators later found that a Greyhound ticket she had purchased for her return trip to Los Angeles was never scanned, and there was no footage of her boarding the bus.

Authorities have since recovered her luggage from the hostel and are utilizing search dogs alongside her clothing to trace her scent. Up to now, Contarino’s whereabouts remain unknown.
