- Bailey Zimmerman is currently facing serious felony and misdemeanor allegations following claims of approximately $16,000 in damages to a hotel suite at Sandia Resort & Casino.
- The casino asserts that Zimmerman was under the influence prior to a scheduled concert, exhibited disruptive behavior during soundcheck, and subsequently left behind significant damages.
- Zimmerman has postponed performances in New Mexico and California due to reported illness, although casino representatives claim these cancellations were due to excessive alcohol consumption.
Country music icon Bailey Zimmerman may soon confront the repercussions of his actions at a tribal casino in New Mexico, leading to felony and misdemeanor charges against the 26-year-old artist.

TMZ and various other entertainment news sources are reporting that an arrest warrant has been issued for Zimmerman, following allegations from Sandia Resort & Casino regarding $16,000 worth of damages caused during his stay in late May, prior to his planned performance on May 27.
Casino officials allege that Zimmerman engaged in binge drinking before the event, resulting in his decision to cancel the concert at the 4,000-seat outdoor venue.
“There’s nothing I love more than hitting the road and performing for you, so it’s tough for me to say this, but I must postpone tonight’s (5/27) and Saturday’s (5/30) shows. I’ve not been well and tried to push through, but I can’t deliver the show you all deserve,” a statement attributed to Zimmerman appeared on his social media.
The Saturday performance was scheduled to take place at another tribal casino, the Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park, California.
Emerging as a notable talent in country music, Zimmerman gained significant attention with his debut album, “Religiously. The Album.” in 2023. He received nominations for Male Breakthrough Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards for his hits “Fall in Love” and “Rock and a Hard Place.”
Controversy Unfolds
Although many fans expressed their goodwill towards Zimmerman, believing his last-minute concert cancellation was due to illness, Sandia Casino argues there was no health concern, only a performer inebriated beyond control.
In their effort to obtain an arrest warrant, the New Mexico casino reported that Zimmerman displayed noticeable signs of intoxication during soundcheck, including stumbling and erratic behavior. The police report detailed incidents of him throwing a microphone and kicking a drum kit during warm-up.
Casino security reported that Zimmerman spat at them when asked to enter a white SUV, despite his request for a black vehicle. After his team officially canceled the performance, he allegedly continued drinking heavily.
The following morning, after the casino ordered him to vacate, housekeeping discovered the room in disarray, including a destroyed television and substantial damage to furniture and walls, including a hole in one wall.
The police report noted stains on the carpet, two missing chairs, and an unpaid alcohol tab of $400.
Sandia Casino claims they made multiple attempts to contact the singer regarding the damages but were unable to reach him.
