The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City has successfully finalized a range of enhancements to its gaming and hospitality services, adding new features to align with evolving customer needs and foster business growth.
This extensive multimillion-dollar refurbishment includes updates to the casino floor, a fresh high-limit gaming area, a revamped bar, and an exquisite new Asian dining establishment, conveniently located on the main level of the venue.
While the casino has not revealed the exact investment figures, James Bruno, the vice president of casino operations, referred to this project as the most comprehensive renovation of the gaming area since Borgata opened its doors in 2003.
The renovation places significant emphasis on the Asian gaming niche, which represents about 10% of Borgata’s clientele. In an interview with The Free Press of Atlantic City, Bruno noted that this demographic has generated an approximate $100 million annual revenue increase across city casinos recently.
The refurbished Asian gaming area boasts five private suites that offer flexible configurations. Depending on the preferences of players, table games like roulette or blackjack can be converted to mini-baccarat or pai gow with prior notice. The carpeting design reflects cultural elements, integrating motifs from Chinese dragon dances and fan patterns to guide foot traffic.
Adjacent to the gaming section is Noodles, a new dining venue previously launched at Bellagio in Las Vegas. This restaurant replaces Borgata’s earlier Asian dining option and occupies a space approximately double in size. It is positioned about 10 feet away from the nearest gaming tables, providing patrons with easy access between gaming and dining experiences.

Additionally, Borgata has unveiled a high-limit gambling section that allows bets ranging from $100 up to $25,000. This area features two private rooms intended for credit transactions. Bruno mentioned that this new space caters to clients who typically place significant single bets.
The casino’s B Bar reopened on May 9 after undergoing renovations that incorporated bar-top slot machines and a refreshed layout. Guests were already enjoying the new machines during a recent weekday visit.
In 2024, Borgata and its online gaming affiliates reported a combined revenue of $1.36 billion, marking a 5.1% increase over 2023. The property dominated Atlantic City’s nine casinos in total gaming revenue last year. In-person casino revenues reached $738 million, reflecting a 1.2% rise compared to the previous year.
Various other properties in Atlantic City are also undergoing updates to their facilities. Ocean Casino Resort is investing $50 million in room refurbishments, casino expansions, and new dining choices. Tropicana Atlantic City plans to start work on 604 hotel rooms and suites following Labor Day, with completion anticipated by January.
