The FIFA Integrity Task Force has concluded its oversight of the 2026 World Cup, reporting zero suspicious betting alerts after monitoring betting trends and gameplay in all 104 matches.

The examination, which was conducted in real time throughout the tournament, revealed no signs of match-fixing related to any game.

This result came after a comprehensive effort to consolidate information from various sources. FIFA compiled betting-monitoring reports and additional relevant data provided by Task Force members, analyzing and disseminating that information among participants based on established protocols.

This structure enabled the group to evaluate and act on any alerts concerning potential manipulation throughout the event, with each involved organization lending its expertise.

“The FIFA Integrity Task Force established a robust framework during the FIFA World Cup 2026 for intelligence sharing, evaluating potential issues, and ensuring a prompt response,” stated Liam Rich, FIFA’s Senior Integrity Manager. “We extend our gratitude to all Task Force members for their expertise and dedication throughout the competition, and we are eager to enhance this collaboration in upcoming FIFA events.”

Entities involved included: the AFC, CAF, Concacaf, CONMEBOL, UEFA, and the OFC, along with the US Soccer Federation, the Canadian Soccer Association, and the Mexican Football Federation.

Government and law enforcement participants included: the FBI, INTERPOL, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the Council of Europe, the Group of Copenhagen, the U.S. Department of Justice, Sport Integrity Canada, the Competition Bureau Canada, and Mexico’s Comisión Federal de Competencia Económica.

Industry contributors included: Sportradar, the International Betting Integrity Association, the United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports, IC360, and Genius Sports, along with other independent experts.

FIFA announces its intention to employ this collaborative framework for future events, including this year’s youth competitions and the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The organization plans to further develop its integrity initiatives in cooperation with confederations, member associations, and other stakeholders in the ongoing fight against match-fixing.
