Oklahoma’s Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant presented a Texas grandmother with a life-changing $1M over the weekend.

Rosa Guia of Lancaster had a hard time believing she was the fortunate winner.

“I still can’t believe it. I can’t believe it because of how much it is. I know it’s real because I won $1 million tonight,” Guia was quoted by Texas’s Focus Daily News.

I’m not sure what I am going to do with the money, but I have four children and 12 grandchildren. I think I will take them somewhere,” she said.

This is not Guia’s first win at the gaming property. She previously won $41,000 in 2017.

“I love it here because I do win, and I can double my money,” she added.

Guia frequently visits the gaming property, often accompanied by her family, for more than a decade. It is a great way for her to relax.

According to the Focus Daily News, she has worked at an embroidery graphics company for the past 23 years.

The tribal casino’s $6.6 Million Summer Giveaway promotion includes the second $1 million grand prize drawing of the season. A third drawing is scheduled for later this season.

The fortunate winners consider these jackpots to be life-changing.

“Today, we made a second rewards club member an instant millionaire as part of our 3 Months. 3 Millionaires giveaway,” Jeff Penz, senior director of gaming and hospitality at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant, said in a statement released on Sunday.

$91K Win at Fremont Casino

Las Vegas’s Fremont Hotel and Casino awarded a lucky slot machine player over $91K on Friday.

The total amount won was $91,404.25. The player bet 75 cents on the slot machine.

The winner, identified as “Andre,” did not provide a last name.

The casino announced the win on its Twitter feed. “Congratulations, Andre!” the Twitter post said. “May your lucky streak never end!”

$2.4M Winner in New Jersey

BetMGM paid a fortunate player in New Jersey $2.4 million last month while playing the game Luck O’ The Jackpot on the Borgata Online Casino.

In total, BetMGM paid out approximately $75 million in jackpots during the first half of this year.

Michigan players received the most with $27.4 million, followed by New Jersey players with $23.2 million, and Pennsylvania players in third place with $18.8 million.

Last year, BetMGM, an iGaming and online sportsbook operator, awarded over $104 million in jackpots. The company predicts that this total will be surpassed this year based on recent wins.
