Kylie Minogue is set to kick off a series of weekend shows at The Venetian starting in late October. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the venue, Voltaire, has been specifically designed for pop residencies and can accommodate up to 1,000 spectators. While the venue is significantly smaller than Adele’s show at The Colosseum, which can hold 4,000 people, Minogue’s impressive career and more than 80 million album sales worldwide are expected to generate significant excitement for her performances. This comes after reports last fall that Minogue was in talks with Caesars Entertainment for a possible residency at Caesars Palace or Planet Hollywood.
Minogue will be giving fans a taste of her upcoming residency with her track “Vegas High” from her new album, “Tension,” set to be released on September 22.
Additionally, Live Nation is running a promotion where fans can purchase four tickets for $80 for select concerts in Las Vegas, including shows by Miranda Lambert, Maroon 5, and Jonas Brothers. A full list of participating events can be found on the Live Nation website, with presales beginning on July 18.
