The 2026 MLB World Series will commence on Friday, October 23rd, after the Championship finals. The best-of-seven game series could run until Saturday, October 31st, and this is the final date at which the market will be settled.

The LA Dodgers remain the clear favorites among traders, having won the previous two World Series and performed consistently well through 2026 so far. However, their current price of 32¢ affords traders minimal liquidity in the marketplace. 

Conversely, both the Yankees and the Brewers appear relatively underpriced at present, creating potential opportunities to buy, sell, and lock in profits both before and during the postseason.

The Dodgers currently have a 32% chance of winning the 2026 World Series, as their quest for a rare three-peat continues. This reflects the franchise’s exceptional regular-season record so far and their .624 win rate, while star hitter Shohei Ohtani has scored 66 runs and continues to lead LA’s charge.

A well-coached and exceptional collective, the Dodgers also have immense strength in depth. ESPN also gives the team a true win probability of 27.5%, so a “Yes” trade price of 32¢ is fair and indicative of relatively good value.

However, the Dodgers have traded within an incredibly narrow range this season, with their win probability fluctuating between just 22% and 32% since January 22nd. So, the price has largely peaked and offers minimal upside, especially if you want to retain the option of selling your shares before the market settles.

On Polymarket, the New York Yankees have a 14% chance of winning this year’s World Series. However, ESPN has afforded the franchise just an 11.8% win probability, after a slew of inconsistent performances have left them second in the AL East with a win-rate of just .560.

At the heart of their struggles is a huge injury list, with Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Max Fried, and Carlos Rodón all currently absent. However, Judge, Stanton and Rodón are expected to return to action in August, while Fried may appear even earlier after a period of rehabilitation.

The restoration of the Yankees’ full-strength lineup should lead to an upturn in fortunes, and potentially help them to overhaul Tampa Bay in the divisional championship race. This will most likely see the franchise’s price increase significantly, even above a previous peak of 16¢ on June 25th.

This may create opportunities to sell and lock in a profit, either during the regular season or playoffs (the Yankees have a 97.7% probability of reaching the postseason). I don’t see them winning the World Series this year, but they’re definitely underpriced in the current market.

“Milwaukee Brewers to win the World Series” | “Yes” at 9.9¢ | 10% Chance

In terms of high value picks, the Milwaukee Brewers stand out here. You can trade “Yes” on the Brewers winning a maiden World Series at 9.9¢, while the side has a 10% chance of achieving this objective.

Milwaukee now has the best regular season record in 2026, going 63-37 so far and compiling a .630 win rate. They’ve also retained much of the youthful and athletic roster that reached the NL Championship Series last season, while Jacob Misiorowski has emerged as the MLB’s best pitcher with an ERA of just 1.57. 

Only three players have scored more than Brice Turang’s 68 runs this season too, while the franchise’s incredible minor league depth can supplement any additions made prior to the upcoming trade deadline.

ESPN affords the Brewers a 16.5% probability of winning the World Series, suggesting that they’re currently being underpriced by Polymarket traders. They also retain a 99.6% chance of reaching the playoffs, so consider buying “Yes” shares now and looking to cash in at some point during the postseason.

Trading American and National League Outcomes

The Brewers also offer value in the National League winner market. Here, they’re currently afforded a 19% win probability, with this having risen steady from just 3.5% on March 8th. 

You can buy “Yes” shares in Milwaukee for 18.8¢, creating a huge potential upside in the coming weeks. The Brewers now top the National League and are in better form than the Dodgers, while they continue to perform consistently well both at home and on the road.
