Nebraska: Lake Mac Casino introduces live table games prior to July racing weekend


Lake Mac Casino Resort & Racetrack in Nebraska has proudly launched its live dealer games, enhancing the gaming experience. The official unveiling occurred on Tuesday afternoon during a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event, signaling an exciting growth phase ahead of the casino’s highly anticipated quarter horse racing weekend.

Live dealer games will be available from Thursday to Sunday, between 4 p.m. and 2 a.m., starting Thursday, July 2. The casino has added Blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold’em to its gaming offerings.

Nestled just off Interstate 80 in Ogallala, Nebraska, the casino already boasts over 300 slot machines, electronic table games, a sportsbook, simulcast wagering, live entertainment, and exciting quarter horse racing. The introduction of live tables brings a more interactive experience, complementing its electronic options.

The launch coincides with the upcoming Lake Mac Casino’s American Quarter Horse race weekend in 2026, set for Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11. This thrilling weekend will showcase a total of eight races, with four scheduled each day starting at 3 p.m. Mountain Time.

The live dealer games were announced during a festive event attended by local leaders, casino executives, and members from nearby businesses and tourism groups.

Thomas Frank, General Manager, along with Keith County Area Development Executive Director Mary Wilson and Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission Commissioner Janell Beveridge from Paxton, delivered key remarks during the ceremony.

Following the speeches, the ceremonial ribbon was cut, and attendees had the opportunity to observe the new gaming area in action. Dealers provided demonstrations, allowing guests to be among the first to enjoy the upgraded gaming experience.
