This multi-year agreement positions Novig as the Exclusive Official Prediction Market Partner of the New York Mets. As part of this partnership, Novig will seamlessly integrate its services throughout the Mets’ ecosystem, including in-ballpark experiences, broadcasting, digital platforms, and social media engagements.

Novig’s Nationwide Expansion

Novig, a sports prediction market platform based in the U.S., has recently received regulatory approval from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in June. Its nationwide launch is set to commence in August 2026, with real-money operations starting soon.

“Innovation is at the core of our company, and this partnership exemplifies our dedication to leading the way in the ever-evolving sports industry,” stated Lew Sherr, President of Business Operations for the New York Mets.

“It aligns with our mission to provide distinctive experiences for our fans while attracting premier partners who wish to grow with us.”

Focus on Integrity Programs

The agreement with the Mets follows Novig’s recognition as an MLB Authorized Prediction Market, indicating its involvement in MLB’s integrity program. Novig is working closely with the league to implement market monitoring, reporting protocols, and to limit micro markets that could pose integrity challenges for MLB.

“Our vision is to create a hub for sports trading,” remarked Jacob Fortinsky, CEO and co-founder of Novig. “Collaborating with one of baseball’s most esteemed franchises enables us to share that vision with fans in one of the world’s premier sports markets.

“The Mets have consistently championed innovation that enriches the fan experience, and together, we’ll introduce a fresh approach for fans to connect with the game in a transparent, regulated environment focused on integrity.”

MLB Partnership with Polymarket

In March 2026, MLB established an official league-level agreement with Polymarket, designating it as MLB’s Official Prediction Market Exchange.

This partnership permits Polymarket to utilize MLB’s trademarks and logos in its offerings and grants access to official MLB data to facilitate and resolve prediction markets. Polymarket has committed to avoiding markets that may present integrity risks, such as individual pitches, managerial choices, and umpire performances.
