Casino operators have until tomorrow, July 17, to put forward their dealers for the 2026 G2E Dealer Championship, which returns to the Global Gaming Expo in an enhanced format following its successful introduction last year.
As the nomination deadline approaches, the competition is inviting qualifying casino operators from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to submit their nominees for what the organizers describe as a showcase of dealer expertise, professionalism, and customer service. The championship is scheduled to take place during G2E 2026, from September 29 to October 1, at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
This 2026 edition will be a milestone as it will now include participants from across North America, having originally launched in 2025 as a U.S.-only event. Organizers have also revealed a larger area on the G2E show floor, providing more opportunities for attendees to witness the live competition.

Competition Highlights Dealer Expertise
Participants will engage in blackjack and traditional roulette, each game being dealt for 15 minutes while assessed on their technical skill, hospitality, and control over the game. A number of elimination rounds will narrow down to the finalists, with cash prizes distributed to the top three competitors.
The competition is open to full-time, part-time, and dual-rate dealers working for regulated commercial, tribal, and state casinos throughout North America. Nominations must come from a table games executive at a director level or higher, and every nomination must include a judge from the same location.
“We are thrilled to reintroduce the G2E Dealer Championship after its enthusiastic reception in 2025. This event highlights the outstanding talent and showmanship of casino dealers, showcasing their crucial role in providing an unforgettable gaming atmosphere,” remarked Korbi Carrison, Event Vice President for G2E at RX.
“Last year’s competition was a standout moment at G2E and brought incredible energy to the show floor. We eagerly anticipate the event’s return with a broader pool of dealers from across North America, given the strong feedback from last year’s contest.”

Building On A Successful Debut
The inaugural championship featured 34 dealers from various casinos across the United States, with Elleonor Hoffman of Graton Resort & Casino claiming the title along with the leading cash prize.
According to the organizers, the event quickly became a highlight of G2E 2025, offering attendees an insight into the skill set necessary to manage live table games while acknowledging dealers as essential ambassadors of the casino environment.
“The G2E Dealer Championship provides an interactive platform for us to not only acknowledge but also showcase the abilities of dealers from all over North America,” stated Debi Nutton, former EVP of Casino Operations, Executive Coach & Gaming Consultant.
“Dealers are the backbone of the gaming experience and often serve as the guests’ first point of contact. I’m honored to help shine a spotlight on their skills and professionalism on our industry’s biggest platform.”
In addition to the competition, sponsorship opportunities are available for companies looking to gain exposure during the event through on-site branding, digital promotions, and participant engagement initiatives.
