These Toronto-based siblings have become the pioneering brother-sister team to claim a $75 million jackpot from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s LOTTO MAX.

Counting the Zeros
Jonathan R. and Mylene P. (OLG now shares only first names and last initials with the public) are the lucky winners from the March 3, 2026, drawing, as reported by an OLG news release.
For nearly two years, the siblings have played the lottery, regularly selecting numbers that carry personal significance to them and their loved ones.
Jonathan was the first to uncover their outstanding win, checking the ticket using the OLG app early one morning.
“Initially, I thought we’d won $75,000. I was still half-asleep,” he recounted. “When I put on my glasses to take a closer look, I noticed the additional zeros and my happiness soared!”
Dreams Transformed Into Reality
He then excitedly informed his sister, who also believed they had won $75,000 until Jonathan prompted her to “count the zeros.”
With the jackpot, Jonathan is determined to support his parents, spouse, and children, emphasizing the importance of family.
“I will ensure my children’s education is fully funded,” he expressed. “I want them to have the very best.”
He is also eager to purchase a property where he can build a spacious home for his family.
“This windfall will benefit multiple generations,” he added, expressing his desire to construct a small chapel in his hometown as part of his legacy of helping others.
Giving Back to the Community
Similar to her brother, Mylene stated that family will be her priority with the winnings. She is also looking forward to traveling to Germany, Austria, and Japan, and plans to organize an extensive family vacation for parents, children, and spouses throughout Canada.
“This win will dramatically change our lives—it’s not just about us, but also for our children. Building my own home has always been a dream, and now I can turn that dream into a reality,” she shared. “I spent my career cleaning stunning homes, and now I can have my very own beautiful home to care for. My heart is overflowing with love and joy.”
LOTTO MAX is managed by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, alongside other national lottery games in Canada such as Lotto 6/49 and Daily Grand. LOTTO MAX often boasts some of the largest rolling jackpots.
