During Q2 2026, the company reported an 18% year-on-year revenue increase, totaling $684 million, up from $579 million in the previous year. This growth is largely attributed to robust performances in Africa and Europe.

Adjusted EBITDA surged by 30%, climbing from $157 million to $204 million. Additionally, the adjusted EBITDA margin expanded from 27% to 30%. Super Group also turned a profit of $123 million, a stark contrast to the $3 million loss reported in the same quarter last year.

“The second quarter delivered unprecedented results for Super Group, achieving record milestones in revenue, adjusted EBITDA, deposits, and wagering,” stated CEO Neal Menashe.

Super Group has revised its annual revenue forecast from over $2.55 billion to above $2.6 billion. Similarly, the company’s adjusted EBITDA expectations have been lifted from above $680 million to over $710 million.

In response to this announcement, shares of Super Group experienced a nearly 2% uptick and have increased by approximately 60% over the past six months.

CFO Alinda van Wyk emphasized that the results reflect the “quality” of the business, noting record revenue, profitability, and cash flow generation.

“These figures exemplify our strong operational performance, systematic market expansion, and the inherent leverage of our platform,” she added.

Betway Becomes Key Partner for Manchester United

The strong financial results coincide with the announcement of a multi-year partnership between Betway and Manchester United. Starting in the 2026-27 season, Betway will serve as the club’s Principal Partner and Exclusive Global Betting Partner.

This deal marks Betway’s most significant football collaboration to date, with its logo set to appear on the training kits of both Manchester United’s men and women teams, as well as throughout Old Trafford and the Progress with Unity Stadium.

The partnership will also promote safer gambling and provide betting-integrity resources for Manchester United’s players, staff, and fans.

“We are excited that our Betway brand will be the Principal Partner and Exclusive Global Betting Partner for one of the largest football clubs globally,” Menashe remarked.

“Manchester United’s extensive global presence, especially their vast fanbase in Africa, aligns seamlessly with our core markets.”

This focus on training apparel coincides with the Premier League’s voluntary gambling sponsorship ban, which prohibits betting brands from appearing on the front of matchday shirts starting in the 2026-27 season.

Clubs reached this consensus in 2023 following discussions amongst the Premier League and the UK government. However, this ban does not apply to training kits or shirt sleeves.

Marc Armstrong, Chief Business Officer at Manchester United, remarked that the magnitude of this partnership reflects the club’s growth strategy and sustained global appeal.

“Betway is a globally recognized brand with a significant footprint across the world of sports,” Armstrong stated.

“We anticipate working together to amplify their global aspirations and create new avenues for engaging supporters of Manchester United.”
