Stake has entered into an agreement with UFC women’s flyweight contender Tracy Cortez to serve as its latest global ambassador, enhancing its presence within the mixed martial arts sector.
The online casino and sportsbook revealed that Cortez will join its team of UFC ambassadors this month, adding the No. 8-ranked flyweight to its lineup as Stake amplifies its engagement with the UFC.
Cortez boasts an impressive 12-3 record in her professional career. She made her UFC debut following her participation in Dana White’s Contender Series in 2019 and subsequently achieved an 11-fight winning streak. She is now on a quest for her first UFC title.
Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Cortez began her mixed martial arts journey at the age of 14 after experiencing the loss of her brother, Jose. Her career trajectory has now led her to the UFC’s women’s flyweight division.
“Joining forces with Stake feels like the ideal opportunity for this phase of my career,” said Cortez. “This is a brand that’s at the forefront of sports and entertainment, and they appreciate the same determination and authenticity that I bring to every match.
“I’m excited to connect with my fans in a completely new way and elevate this journey together,” Cortez added.
Stake has already partnered with various UFC athletes through ambassador deals, including notable fighters like Alex Pereira, Max Holloway, Merab Dvalishvili, Caio Borralho, and Alexandre Pantoja.
“Tracy Cortez is an extraordinary athlete, and we are thrilled to enter into this partnership with her as our new ambassador,” stated Akhil Sarin, Chief Marketing Officer of Stake. “She has demonstrated that she is a true competitor in the UFC flyweight division, and as she reaches her peak, Stake is eager to support her journey.”
“Tracy’s vibrant personality and competitive edge align seamlessly with our values at Stake – she is engaging, the fans adore her, and we look forward to cultivating a partnership that adds value to MMA enthusiasts,” Sarin added.
Stake noted that the agreement with Cortez is part of its ongoing commitment to sports sponsorships and athlete collaborations. The organization is continuously exploring partnerships across mixed martial arts, football, and entertainment while bolstering its involvement in the UFC through ambassador relationships.
