The Backstreet Boys will usher in 2027 in the same fashion as 2026 — by performing at the Sphere. The concert dates are set for December 31 and January 1-2.
With these additional performances, the Backstreet Boys will have played at the Sphere a total of 60 times, including a show during this November’s F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. They are only 12 concerts away from matching the Eagles. The former boy band’s legendary “Into The Millennium” tour, marking the first time a pop act headlined the Sphere, kicked off in July 2025.
Tickets for the New Year’s Eve concerts will be available at Ticketmaster.com starting at 10 a.m. PT on August 21, with a presale for fan club members starting on August 18 and an artist presale kicking off on August 19. Fans can register for the presale until August 17 via this link.
Vibee, the company managing bundled hotel and concert experiences for the residency, is offering exclusive travel packages that include guaranteed seating at the Sphere along with accommodation at the Venetian. Sales for these packages will launch at 10 a.m. PT on August 12.
Richard Marx Takes the Stage
Richard Marx will headline the Pearl at the Palms on October 30. The frequently criticized pop star is the only male artist to have his first seven singles reach the Billboard Top 5 and is one of only two musicians — along with Michael Jackson — to write No. 1 hits across four different decades.

Koe Wetzel Lights Up Planet Hollywood
Country sensation Koe Wetzel is set to perform at PH Live at Planet Hollywood on December 11, bringing fresh entertainment during the National Finals Rodeo. This show is part of his “Night Champion” world tour. The Texas-born artist recently attracted over 50,000 fans during his performance at the Houston Rodeo. Presales are happening throughout the week, with general tickets becoming available at 10 a.m. PT on August 14 via Ticketmaster.
Guitar Store to Feature Potential Secret Stage
Last week, we briefly mentioned the upcoming opening of a Gibson Garage in Las Vegas, initially presented as just a guitar shop. However, Gibson’s official announcement indicated that the store will occupy 9,000 square feet within the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Interestingly, the company’s building permit was approved for 22,000 square feet.
While no corporate confirmation has been made, this implies that a 13,000 square-foot performance space might be in the works. If so, similar to the stage at McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica, it could host intimate concerts from renowned guitarists visiting the area for tour stops — particularly those backed by Gibson endorsement deals.
The Gibson Garage is slated to open sometime next year.
