Redden’s violent actions resulted in Judge Holthus being punched and pushed against a wall. An unnamed marshal who rushed to her defense sustained a bloody gash on his forehead and a dislocated shoulder, indicating the severity of the attack.

Despite multiple courtroom staff and officers intervening to subdue Redden, the struggle was intense. Nevertheless, Redden was eventually arrested and taken to Clark County Detention Center, where he awaits his fate.

It was a situation that quickly turned dangerous, and swift action was necessary to prevent further harm. The court has commended its staff and law enforcement for their heroic acts during the attack.

During the sentencing, Redden became increasingly agitated and soon erupted into a violent outburst against the judge, displaying behavior warranting serious consequences.
