Steve Kestler of Aroma Latin American Cocina in Henderson is in the running for the Best Chef in the Southwest category. The competition includes Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Bet on Kestler to impress the judges.

Kestler opened Aroma in 2021 to showcase the flavors of Guatemala. Last year, Aroma was named Yelp’s top taco spot in the US despite having only eight tables.

Oscar Amador of Anima by EDO, Kimmie and Josh Mcintosh of MILKFISH Bakeshop, and DJ Flores of Milpa along with Brian Howard of Sparrow + Wolf did not make it to the final round of their respective categories. This is your chance to wager on the Best Chef in the Southwest.

Get ready for the Beard Awards ceremony on June 10th in Chicago where this year’s winners will be revealed.
