A new case against Sean “Diddy” Combs could reveal more than expected. Federal investigators are reportedly working with prosecutors in the trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the first person charged in connection with Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder.
The Clark County District Attorney’s office in Las Vegas is sharing information about claims linking Diddy to individuals who wished harm upon Shakur as mentioned in Davis’ trial testimony.
Diddy’s name appeared 77 times in documents submitted against Davis’ bail request, which was denied recently.
Investigation Updates
Combs, 54, was arrested in Manhattan after a sex trafficking investigation raided his LA and Miami homes.
He is accused of presiding over sexual crimes and using violence to keep victims silent, according to an indictment.
Combs pleaded not guilty in federal court in New York City.
Davis claimed that he orchestrated Shakur’s murder at Combs’ request, but Diddy denied involvement.
Combs and Davis were connected through Bad Boy Records, where Davis worked security in the past.
Combs refutes the allegations and was never charged in Shakur’s murder case.
Witnesses and investigators are being consulted in the ongoing investigation regarding Diddy’s possible connection to Shakur’s murder.
Davis’ trial has been postponed to March 2025 to allow his legal team more time to review evidence.
