The band will be touring without founding guitarist Mick Mars, who has been battling a rare disease, ankylosing spondylitis, and legal disputes with his former bandmates in recent years. John 5 will be replacing Mars, previously known for his work with Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson.

According to the band’s publicist, “Mötley Crüe and Las Vegas have always been the perfect combination of extravagance and decadence. We’ve always loved the idea of the Vegas residency, because we’ve always loved the idea of staying in one location to build a unique show for the fans. We’re excited to get into rehearsals and work up a lot of songs that have been requested by the fans for years.”

This will be Mötley Crüe’s third Las Vegas residency, following two at the former Hard Rock in 2012 and 2013.

The new dates are March 28 and 29, and April 3, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18 and 19.

Presales for fan club and Citi members start at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, Oct. 4, with tickets becoming available to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 through Ticketmaster.

Eagles Extend Residency

The Eagles have added four more shows to their Las Vegas residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, bringing the total number of shows to 24 over 12 weekends.

Tickets for the new dates on February 14, 15, 21 and 22 will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, starting at $175 for the cheapest seats, available on eagles.com. An artist presale begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, while presales for Live Nation and SiriusXM start at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Imagine Dragons for NYE

Imagine Dragons will be performing at The Venetian Theatre to ring in the new year at 9:30 p.m. on December 31, 2025. Tickets for this new tour date start at $139.95 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 through Ticketmaster. An artist presale begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, while Venetian Rewards members and Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers will have access to a pre-sale starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4.

Sammy Hagar’s Recognition

Former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar will be honored with a key to the Las Vegas Strip on Friday, Oct. 4, at his Cabo Wabo Cantina patio. This event will acknowledge Hagar’s significant economic and charitable contributions in Clark County, Nevada, along with celebrating the 15th anniversary of his Planet Hollywood restaurant and his upcoming 77th birthday, on Oct. 13.

The key to the Las Vegas Strip ceremony was introduced in 2013 by former Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak to deter Strip venues from hosting keys to the city presentations.

Las Vegas is often mistaken by tourists to only include the downtown area, while in reality, most of the famous Las Vegas Strip lies within unincorporated Clark County. The tradition of presenting keys to celebrities on the Strip by city mayors continues, as it is more iconic and well-known than downtown Las Vegas.

Key presentations by the City of Las Vegas still occur, even though the Strip falls outside their jurisdiction, in unincorporated Clark County.
